The Hangover

The one (and perhaps only) good thing about working the day after Christmas weekend is that no one else is.  BART and the Financial District were EMPTY this morning.  So, I foresee this blog being sparse this week.  Less people = less entertainment.

Merry Christmas from BART

This afternoon on BART, I was engrossed in my game of Tetris when out of the corner of my eye, I saw two boys sit down on the floor - a sure-fire way to grab this germ phobe's attention.  Lucky for me, I had my iphone out and it was already pointed right in their direction.  The BART train was serenaded by a man and his two sons to The Beatles' "Norwegian Wood."  According to the father, he had just lost his job and they were trying to raise money for Christmas.  And they were good.  They got quite a few tips and I even saw some 20s handed over to them.  They were walking through the cars, and I was more than a little tempted to follow.

What's Up, Doc?

Fashion Faux Paw

I'm not a big fan of animal prints.  It's less of a PETA thing and more of a not-my-style thing.  If there is animal print, I prefer it in small doses.  So, as you can imagine, not a big fan of the jacket.

Okay, I don't like the collar, either.

A Little Home Away from Home

Nothing makes my morning quite like a Guide Dog on BART.  I love pups, and it's always a treat to see a well-behaved one (because let's face it, my dogs are a lot of things, but well-behaved does not make the Top 10).  It takes everything in me not to pet the dog.  I surely understand why you can't, but he's so sweet and cute...

RAIN = Fun fashion

 Every day I walk through San Francisco in awe of all the smartly dressed professionals.  Believe me, working in San Francisco is not good for your bank account.  Cute boots!  Oh my gosh, where can I get a jacket like that?  But let me tell you, the fashion finds are in the BART station.
 Keeping the dreadlocks dry.
Ah-mazing hat.

To be fair, I had to include a picture of these boots, which I really do love.  I've been wanting a cute pair a rain boots and these ones are PAISLEY!
